Not everyone has to start in the same place.

Each manual represents a stage of motor-task complexity. The level describes the task, not the child. A child may progress sooner in some movement patterns and need more support in others.

Level 1

$399 MXN

To build safety, predictability, understanding of the task, and early experiences of success.

  • Simple, clear movement patterns
  • Modeling and visual supports
  • Foundational strength and balance
  • Communication for breaks or help

Where to start?

Choose the level by observing, not guessing.

Before progressing, OLA recommends observing several areas across more than one session. No single measure defines a child's level.

Regulation and participationCan the child participate safely, regain regulation after a break, and return to the activity?
Understanding the taskDoes the child understand the instruction with the available level of support and need less help with practice?
Movement quality and safetyDoes the child maintain balance, alignment, and control without pain or a marked decline in technique?
Independence and supportsCan the child start or complete more parts of the movement with the same or fewer supports?
Flexibility and generalizationCan the child tolerate small changes in equipment, order, direction, or context without losing safety?
Functional communicationCan the child ask for help, a break, or an adaptation using words, gestures, pictograms, or their usual communication system?

Quick guide to choosing a starting point

After answering the 6 questions, use this guide as a reference. It is not a clinical assessment and does not replace professional evaluation.

4–6 “No” answersBeginnerStart with simpler, more predictable tasks and greater support.
2–3 “No” answersIntermediateThe child may be ready for greater sequencing, coordination, and independence while keeping the supports they need.
0–1 “No” answersAdvancedA more integrated level may be appropriate if safety, regulation, and understanding of the task are maintained consistently.
Important: If there is a “No” in safety, regulation, or understanding of the task, we recommend starting at the previous level even if the overall result suggests a more advanced one. If you are unsure between two levels, start with the simpler one and observe for at least 2 sessions.
This is not about “passing” a level. It is about finding the best starting point.
Inside each manual

More than a list of exercises.

A guide for supporting the process.

Each level combines guidance for families and coaches with visual exercise cards, safety criteria, and tools for deciding when to maintain, simplify, or progress.
